Complete onboarding

A short onboarding flow opens. Choose your birding region and whether to auto-play bird calls. This takes about 30 seconds.
4

Open a new tab

Your first bird is waiting. Every new tab from here on shows a different species.

After installing

All new installs include a 14-day free trial of BirdTab Pro. No credit card required. You get full access to video mode, high-res images, all international regions, and the clock and timer. After the trial, BirdTab continues working with the standard free features.
The first time you open a new tab after installing, a short onboarding flow walks you through:
  1. Choose your birding region — the geographic area from which your daily birds are drawn. Defaults to United States.
  2. Auto-play audio — whether bird calls play automatically when you open a new tab. Disabled by default.
You can change both of these at any time in Settings.
BirdTab requests the topSites permission to show your most-visited sites in the Quick Access panel. This permission is optional — Quick Access can be disabled in Settings if you prefer a cleaner view.
