Bird is not loading
- Check your internet connection.
- Click Refresh in BirdTab.
- Open a new tab and try again.
- If BirdTab still does not load, disable and re-enable the extension in your browser.
Audio is not playing
- Confirm the current bird has audio available.
- Check BirdTab volume and your system volume.
- If Quiet Hours is enabled and active, auto-play is suppressed.
- Toggle Auto-play Media off/on in Settings.
Top Sites are missing
- Open Settings → Quick Access Features and confirm it is enabled.
- In browser extension permissions, allow BirdTab access to
topSites. - Re-open a new BirdTab tab.
Pro features not showing after purchase
- Open Settings.
- Click Enter license key.
- Paste your key from purchase email.
- If needed, click Refresh status.
License says device limit reached
Your license supports up to 3 devices. To activate on a new one:- On an existing device, open Settings.
- Open Manage.
- Click Deactivate.
- Return to the new device and enter the license key.
Onboarding does not appear
- Open a new tab and confirm BirdTab is the active new tab page.
- Make sure BirdTab is enabled in your browser’s extension settings.
- If it still does not appear, contact support@birdtab.app.
