High-resolution images are a BirdTab Pro feature. Start your free trial or upgrade to Pro to use it.
By default, BirdTab loads bird photos at 1200px. Pro users can switch to 2400px — nearly double the detail. The difference is most visible on large monitors and high-DPI displays.

Enabling high-res images

1

Open Settings

Click the gear icon in the bottom-right corner.
2

Enable High-Resolution Images

Toggle High-Resolution Images on.
3

Open a new tab

The higher-resolution image loads on the next tab open.

On a metered or slow connection, leave high-res off and enable it when on Wi-Fi. BirdTab preloads the next day’s bird in the background to offset load time.
