International regions are a BirdTab Pro feature. Start your free trial or upgrade to Pro to access them.
By default, BirdTab shows birds from North America. Pro users can switch to any of 200+ regions worldwide to discover birds from completely different ecosystems and continents.

Changing your region

1

Open Settings

Click the gear icon in the bottom-right corner.
2

Select a region

Click the Birding Region dropdown and choose any region from the list.
3

Done

Your preference saves immediately. The next day’s bird (or next refresh) will be from your selected region.

About bird coverage

All regions are sourced from the Macaulay Library at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Coverage varies by region — more populated birding regions generally have a deeper pool of photographs and recordings available.
